About AV YouthBuild 5K Run for Youth Housing
Antelope Valley YouthBuild is a leadership development program for opportunity youth between the ages of 16-24. In addition to a high school diploma, students earn valuable experience in construction, career preparation, and community leadership. Students help organize and put on community events once every three months, typically centered around a social issue that impacts our community. At each event, students engage with community stakeholders and politicians at the city and state levels.
